In 1998, building on its base of aerospace and industrial products, A&R Tarpaulins, Inc. created a new family of products directed towards business and consumers under the name of AR Industries. This effort began with A&R addressing the needs in its local geographic area by providing awnings and canopies, pool and spa covers, boat covers and specialized protective covers for homes, businesses and personal property.
Subsequently AR Industries has developed a long list of products directed to meeting general architectural needs. As seen in the photo galleries, many home and business applications are addressed through AR Industries such as home fixed and retractable awnings, entranceway canopies, tensile structures, as well as shade screens, curtains and other protective covers.
AR Industries is an ISO-9001:2000 registered fabricator of crafted fabric products, collaboratively designed, engineered, and manufactured for commercial and residential applications. Fabric applications include, but are not limited to, architectural and tensile structures, fabric awnings: both retractable awnings and drop shades; and our custom manufactured 'fixed' awnings, canopies, shade screens, patio-curtain enclosures, innovative restaurant enclosures, and any other requirements which call for designed and crafted architectural fabric products.
